One of the best places to find baby chic clothing and décor for less is on eBay.  A simple search of a brand name can bring you a huge number of choices at a fraction of their original retail price.

Some exclusive baby brands can be found at outlet stores and their prices can be 50-75% or more off their original and even sale prices.  These are often inventory leftovers that go on sale just before a new line is about to come out, or are samples left from marketing events and store displays. Make sure you are getting the right size and check the condition of the clothing before purchasing.  Know the return policy.  Some outlet stores may have return policies that don’t allow for exchange or refunds on purchases.

If funds are low, check out Consignment Stores, Thrift Shops and yard sales.  Because babies grow so fast, many clothing items may have seen very little wear especially ones that the mother held in high regard as a ‘special outfit’.    Check used garments carefully for visible set-in baby stains and age yellowing than can diminish quality and usefulness. 

See a toddler who’s always dressed to the nines?  Approach the Mom with a complement on her good taste and hint that you’d love any old castoffs.  You might be surprised and get some great clothes free or very little out of pocket costs.
